Emily Blunt On Laughingly Turning Down 'Sicario's' Nude Scene
After Stern lamented the lack of toplessness in the film, Blunt responded, "That was in there originally, but it came out."
Blunt answered Stern's lament over the absence of toplessness in the movie with, "That was in there originally, but it came out."
As to why, she answered 'we didn’t agree with it’, adding that it was her breasts that disagreed with the scene.
“My t*ts!… We’re not doing it!” she added. “Benicio backed me up. It was a scene between he and I. He’s like my brother now.”
Personal thoughts: While we should respect her decision, it would've been nice to see some nudity in that serious movie. Emily Blunt has refused to do any kind of nude scene since she was married.
Did John (her husband) put some magic spells on her? We will never know, but she is just 41 now, which seems like a lot, but in Hollywood, it's nothing; many actresses do nude scenes even after 50, so there's hope.
