It was reported on February 2nd that Poonam Pandey had died because of cervical cancer. Everyone was shocked, but some thought it was a publicity stunt, and it was exactly that.

After trending everywhere in Indian social media on February 3rd, she uploaded a video saying she is alive and she faked her death to raise awareness about cervical cancer.

She got a lot of backlash from fans, and now a FIR has also been filed against her.

On top, it looks like she was just raising awareness, but the path she took is just so wrong. Now all the attention has been turned to her, not cervical cancer.

Her publicity stunt just came a day after the Indian government announced a vaccination programme for cervical cancer. Why she did that, only she can tell, but after this stunt, her Only Fans page went viral on social media.
